Service Oriented

Suzanne plans to bring customer service to the assessor’s office by helping constituents better understand how their property values are calculated in order to establish trust within the community. She will create a user friendly website and ensure that staff is always available to address constituent concerns.

A Community Resource

Suzanne believes that the Assessor’s Office should be a resource for the community and will create open lines of communications with all the taxpayers of Pima County—including nonprofit organizations, the elderly and disadvantaged populations—to ensure all property tax exemptions and available resources are being applied wherever they are eligible.

An Educational Opportunity

Suzanne will work within the community by educating constituents on how property values are established, where property taxes are used and how they affect local & personal budgets as well as how to navigate the processes for filing appeals and applying for any and all available exemption programs
